Afidano: Electronic Humidor Cabinets in Three Series

Afidano makes electronic cigar humidor cabinets, and it is the newest name in the category we carry: it launched as a new accessories company at the 2026 trade show. The company describes itself as founded by a senior industrial designer and a mechanical engineer who met through a mutual client, with more than a decade of operation and more than ten cabinets launched. Our Afidano collection runs from a 250 count Artistry cabinet up to a 2,500 count.

The three series, and the model codes

Afidano's naming is systematic once you know the key. The letter is the series and the number is roughly the size within it.

Afidano also publishes a 3,000 count double door, a dual zone cabinet combining 42 bottles with 1,250 cigars, and limited editions including a 2026 Collection. The catalogue is deeper than the four capacities most retailers show.

Steel exterior, touch panel, the same climate system underneath as the higher tiers.

The HPR system

Afidano's climate control is what it calls the HPR system, described as an original temperature and humidity constant system built from six components. The published tolerances are the part that matters: 62 to 74 degrees Fahrenheit within plus or minus 1.8 degrees, and 60 to 75 percent relative humidity within plus or minus 3 percent.

What is inside a cabinet

Across the range, the published specification includes:

• Spanish cedar drawers, five on the B4 and six on the C5
• A fingerprint lock and a touch control panel
• App control
• Low-E UV glass on the door
• LED interior lighting
• A water level alarm and top loading water refill
• External digital hygrometers on the newer models

Top loading refill is a small feature that matters more than it sounds. Most electronic cabinets require you to open the door and reach in, which dumps the internal climate every time you top up. Filling from the top keeps the door shut.

Atelier and Artistry

The C series adds finish, the L series adds leather. The L3 at 250 count is the smallest cabinet in the range and the one that fits a study rather than a lounge.

How to choose a capacity

Two rules we give everyone buying their first cabinet.

First, stated counts assume a Robusto at around a 50 ring gauge. If you mainly buy Toros, Gordos or Churchills, work on roughly two thirds of the number. A 1,200 count is a 1,200 count in Robustos and something closer to 800 in Gordos.

Second, buy larger than you think. Everyone underestimates, and a cabinet that runs full has no room for the box you did not plan to buy. If you are choosing between the B4 at 1,200 and the B6 at 1,500, take the B6.

What we notice first-hand

Afidano's proposition is straightforward: cabinet grade climate control with furniture grade finish, at prices that undercut the established names. The Artistry series in particular reads as furniture rather than as an appliance, which is the difference between a cabinet that lives in the office and one that lives in the living room.

The practical observation is about the fingerprint lock. It sounds like a gimmick and it is not, for one specific reason: a lock you have to find a key for is a lock you eventually leave unlocked. A cabinet holding a few thousand dollars of cigars in a house with guests is a real consideration.

The bottom line
