Boveda 72% RH Humidity Control Pack - Size 8
The Size 8 is Boveda's small-format pack, built for the places a full humidor does not go: a travel case, a small humidor, or a bag of cigars on the move. It holds the air around your cigars at a steady 72% relative humidity, so they arrive the way they left.
- Relative Humidity: 72% RH
- Size: Size 8
- Capacity: One pack for up to 5 cigars
- Mechanism: Two-way humidity control, adds or absorbs moisture as needed
Details: Boveda uses a simple formula of salt and purified water behind a membrane, so there is nothing to fill, refill or calibrate. Drop it in with your cigars and close the lid. For a case or humidor holding more than five cigars, use one Size 8 for every five cigars of capacity. Boveda recommends replacing the pack about every three months; unopened, it keeps for up to two years.

One Size 8 covers up to five cigars. A ten-cigar travel case takes two packs.
Where should I use a Size 8 instead of a Size 60?
Use the Size 8 in travel cases, small humidors and humidor bags. For a desktop humidor, the Size 60 is the right format, one pack for every 25 cigars.
