The Brizard and Co Trilogy “Spear” Cutter revives a classic way of cutting cigars: piercing the head instead of slicing it. The Trilogy cutter is designed like a spear with two blades on each side, creating a unique and pleasant cutting method that many aficionados prefer.
Select three points forming a triangle on the head of your cigar. While gently pressing the point of the spear, rotate it back and forth as it scoops tobacco and forms a neat cone. Repeat until you have three equal piercings. Before you ignite, place the foot of the cigar in your mouth and blow out once to expel any small residue of tobacco.
